Winterberry Bath Soak

It’s rare that I ever take a bath as I’m much more of a shower person, but when I crave one, I crave nothing more. After a long day on your feet, or when it’s blistering cold outside, to soak in warm water is a gift to the body. Baths serve many purposes, but adding in a few extra touches can turn them into a beneficial treatment that detoxes and relaxes all in one. We have just launched a new bath soak that is oh so perfect for the winter season. Meet the Winterberry Bath Soak:. IMG_0521 A "must have" winter standby to help ease flu symptoms. Forget any ideas about lying back and relaxing in a floral fragranced bubble bath, but rather imagine soaking in a hot bath and inhaling the invigorating therapeutic essential oils of Wintergreen, which instantly offer relief to the symptoms of colds, flu, blocked nasal passages, aching limbs and sore muscles. Directions for use : Pour 15 to 30 grams in bath under running water and slip into the bath. Relax in the water for at least 30 minutes to allow pores to open and the actives to penetrate and do their work. Best results if you avoid using soap based products in the bath. Simply shower quickly first for maximum absorption of trace minerals and vitamins in the seaweeds. Uses: • As a hot bath soak • Colds and flu relief • Sore muscle relief • Relief from tiredness and stress Contains: Mineral Sea Salts -mineral rich sea salts , which act as a natural germ killer and anti bacterial agent Sea Salt: Sea salt is an alkaline that will help lower acidity in the body. It also contains potassium, and helps the body absorb it better from other foods. Potassium helps to prevent muscles spasms, cramps and pains. People with athletic injuries often turn to salt baths to help ease them of stress and pain. Patridgeberry- high in antioxidants and visual appealing Wintergreen Essential Oil- muscle and joint pain relief from the salicilates in this oil which are at a very safe low dosage of .2% IMG_0479 This mixture will work together to help get your body feeling great. The warm water will open up your pores and allow the ingredients to better soak into the skin, all while helping to draw out any unwanted toxins in the body and boosting your immune system. I normally soak for 30-40 minutes. XO Kimberley
