You should try to incorporate some gym sessions, whether this is cardio and weights or yoga and Pilates, anything to get your blood pumping! It's also a good idea to get in a sauna two or three times a week if possible. Recipes: These are just suggestions. Peel and chop sweet potato in small cubes, shake in a bowl with one Tsp. of Olive oil, season with salt and pepper Snap ends off asparagus and place on a tinfoil sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Fold up both ends and sides of foil wrap so the asparagus is in a package. Set oven to 375 degrees. Before removing asparagus from oven open foil package and let broil until crisp. Terriyaki sauce: 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar 2 Tbsp. of honey 1 tsp. of Ginger Pepper to taste Combine all ingredients to create sauce. Serve your chicken and veggies on a bed of rice drizzled with teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle cashews over top. This will be your routine for the next 5 days. The food may sound boring but you can get lots of variety by switching up what you eat for each meal. Soups are great for a detox! You can have them for dinner and lunch. I love this roasted sweet potato soup http://indigenaskincare.wordpress.com/2014/05/27/rainy-day-comfort-food/. There so many different kinds of salads and smoothies you can make. I find Pinterest to be a great resource for recipes! You can search for hundreds of meal ideas. Remember you can eat raw veggies anytime you are hungry! So if you're really craving a snack in the evening make a homemade hummus and have some carrots, broccoli, and whatever veggie you love! This will help you from feeling deprived on your detox. Exercise is very important to flush toxins from your body, as is your skincare regime at this time. When sweat and toxins leave our body it does so through your skin, so treat yourself! We suggest taking a sea salt bath at the end of a long day, using a scrub 2-3 times a week, moisturizing regularly and doing a weekly masque. Your skin will thank you for it! Let us know if you try our detox and how it went for you! XO Jasmin
